This event is designed to give kids a chance to stay active, compete in friendly games, meet new people, and enjoy time with friends throughout the summer. Whether your child loves dodgeball or just wants a fun way to stay active, this is a great opportunity to jump in and be part of the action!

Looking for a fun way to stay active this summer? Join us for an exciting pickleball experience open to all ages and skill levels — boys, girls, men and women alike! Whether you’re brand new to the game or already enjoy playing, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, play with friends or kids your own age, learn new skills, and enjoy the game in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

This is not tournament-style competition. The focus of this event is casual play, skill development, staying active, and having fun while enjoying the game of pickleball with others.

June 11th, 19th, and 20th all starting at 8:30am and going until 11:00am!

Reminder! Our Ribbon Cutting with the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce is TOMORROW!

Join us as we celebrate the Lindsay Corporation Event Center joining the Norfolk Area Chamber with a ribbon cutting alongside Chamber Ambassadors.

Community members, local business owners, and area supporters are all welcome to attend. The event will include:

• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

• Facility Presentation

• Self-Guided Tours of: Lindsay Corporation Event Center, Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center, FCA Lindsay Fitness Center, Lindsay Public Library, Lindsay Academy Jr/Sr High School

This is also a great opportunity to meet the Norfolk Area Chamber Ambassadors and connect with fellow community and business leaders from across the region.

Following the event, Chamber Ambassadors will take a walk through downtown Lindsay to visit local businesses and learn more about the businesses that make our community special.

Parents, if your teens are looking for something to do this summer, get their friends together for The Glowdown: Teen Coed Volleyball Showdown & Glow Party on Saturday, June 6 at the Lindsay Event Center.

• Glow volleyball under black lights

• Good music all day

• Games played across 4 courts

• Glow party and hangout space in the upper deck overlooking all 4 courts

This event is for ages 15-20, but younger teams are welcome too if they are comfortable potentially playing older teams.

Teens, get your friends together, make a team, and come hang out for a full day of glow volleyball.

Team registration is $20 per player and spots are limited, so don’t wait to register.

Kids Fun & Fit Club is a fun and active program designed to get kids moving, learning, and having a great time! Each session includes a mix of games, fitness activities, basic skill development, and open play in a positive and welcoming environment.

This supervised activity program gives parents time to work out, attend meetings, or simply enjoy some quiet time while kids stay active, safe, and engaged. Our goal is to create a fun experience where kids can build confidence, stay active, and enjoy being around others in an encouraging atmosphere.

Join us on May 26th, 28th, and 29th with two session options each day:

Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM

Come experience fitness, games, and active play in a fun and welcoming environment!

The event will include a ribbon cutting and presentation about the facility, as well as self-guided tours of the Lindsay Corporation Event Center, Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center, FCA Lindsay Fitness Center, Lindsay Public Library, and Lindsay Academy Jr/Sr High School.

This is also a great opportunity to meet the Norfolk Area Chamber Ambassadors and connect with fellow community and business leaders.

Teen Co-Ed Sand Volleyball League - Registration has been extended to Wednesday May 13th.
Open to girls and boys ages 13–20. This relaxed, fun-focused league is perfect for players of all experience levels who want to enjoy the game, make friends, and build skills over the summer.
• Monday Nights: June 1- June 29
• Tournament on June 29 with prizes for 1st place teams in each division

A big thank you to the Lindsay Academy Booster Club for their generous contribution toward the scoreboards and video boards in our main gymnasium. Your support helps enhance the experience for our athletes, students, and the entire community.

We still have a few sponsorship spots available on the scoreboards. This is a great opportunity for businesses to show their support while reaching a wide and diverse audience. The Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center gymnasium is used by Lindsay Academy and Humphrey teams, hosts regional athletic events, serves our daily fitness center members, and welcomes leagues and events that bring in over 48,000 spectators throughout the year.

Our annual marketing packages are designed to maximize your visibility and make your investment go further. Design services are also available to help your business stand out.

🎶 Music Bingo Night – April 25 at Lindsay Event Center 🎶

Make plans for a fun night out at the Lindsay Event Center on Saturday, April 25.

Schedule:
6–8 PM: Dinner
7–10 PM: Music Bingo (join anytime)
10–11 PM: Music & Drinks

Music Bingo will be hosted by The Music Bingo People, featuring a DJ playing clips of popular songs. Match songs on your card, complete a line or full card, and call out BINGO to win.

Ticket Information:
• Early Bird: $10 (through April 23)
• $20 after April 23 / at the door
• Reserved Table of 8: $60

Tickets include two Music Bingo cards and 5 raffle entries.

Food & Drinks:
A smoked pork sandwich meal with sides and water will be available for purchase from 6–8 PM. Concessions and additional drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Raffle Drawings:
Each ticket includes 5 entries into raffle prize drawings held throughout the event. These are separate from Music Bingo game prizes. Additional raffle entries will be available for purchase.

👨‍👩‍👧 FCCLA Kids Night Out – April 25

Need a babysitter? FCCLA members are hosting a Kids Night Out the same evening. All ages welcome.

• Time: 5:30–11 PM
• Cost: $25 per child (payment due at drop off)
• Location: Lindsay Academy Jr/Sr High School

Includes supper (pizza, fruit, chips), snacks, games, activities, and a movie.
Please send a water bottle. If needed, bring diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes.
