Looking Back at Our Grand Reveal! It's hard to believe it's already been a couple months since our Grand Reveal.
Between preparing for our spring and summer events, we never had the opportunity to properly look back on an incredible evening.
Our Grand Reveal welcomed visitors from across the area to experience the Lindsay Event Center fully transformed for the very first time. Guests explored the beautifully decorated event space, sampled food and beverages from local partners, met talented event professionals, browsed the Event Market & Exchange, and enjoyed music throughout the evening.
Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be sharing more photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments from the Grand Reveal, including features on the talented professionals who helped bring the event to life.

What a great morning on the courts! 🏓
Today marked the first session of our Summer Pickleball Fun series, and participants spent the morning learning the basics, practicing their skills, and enjoying some friendly games under the guidance of Wyatt Nissen.

Summer Pickleball Fun is designed for all ages and skill levels; from complete beginners to experienced players. No partner is needed, as staff will organize pairings and game rotations throughout the morning.
Whether you're looking to learn the game, stay active, meet new people, or just have some fun, we'd love to have you join us!

Saturday Night at the Lindsay Event Center was LIT!!!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first Glowdown: Teen & Adult Coed Volleyball Tournament!
One of the biggest highlights of the night was watching our teen teams battle their way through a bracket filled with adult teams. They proved they could compete with anyone, earning 3rd and 4th place finishes and pushing the top adult teams with some impressive volleyball.
And we think everyone in attendance would agree that the Teen Net Ninjas stole the show. This all-female team of 14- and 15-year-olds played with incredible confidence and determination, going toe-to-toe at the net with adult male players. Watching them rack up spike kills, stuff blocks, and refuse to back down against much older competition was one of the most exciting parts of the entire tournament.
We welcomed 8 teams and players from Columbus, Norfolk, Genoa, Pender, and Humphrey, and every one of them said we need to do this again!
🏆 Congratulations to our inaugural Glowdown champions:

🥈 2nd Place – DFL (Columbus)
🥉 3rd Place – Teen Net Ninjas (Humphrey, Norfolk, Pender)

🏐 Summer Youth Volleyball League 🏐
REGISTRATION EXTENDED THROUGH JUNE 15TH!
There's still time to sign up for our Summer Youth Volleyball League! This is a great opportunity for 5th Grade, 6th Grade, and Junior High teams to compete, improve their skills, and have fun throughout the month of July.
Season Dates: June 30 – July 29, 2026
4 Weeks of League Play + End-of-Season Tournament
League Schedule
• 5th & 6th Grade Teams – Tuesdays
• Junior High Teams – Wednesdays
• Game Times: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Lindsay Main Gym & Event Center
Each team will:
• Play multiple matches each night
• Be guaranteed at least 12 pool-play matches
• Compete in a postseason tournament
• Play in either the Gold or Silver Bracket Championship
Cost: $200 per team

Kids Fun & Fit Club Is Back for a Full Month This Summer!
After a successful trial run and fantastic feedback from participating families, we're excited to continue Kids Fun & Fit Club for a full month of summer fun at the FCA Lindsay Fitness Center! Designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years, this supervised program offers a safe, active, and engaging environment filled with games, crafts, light fitness activities, structured play, and more.
While children enjoy fun and age-appropriate activities, parents can make the most of their time at the facility—whether that means getting in a workout, attending a meeting, working remotely, or simply taking some well-deserved personal time. Sessions will be offered on June 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and July 1, 6, 8, 13, and 15, with a Morning Session from 9:00–10:30 AM and an Afternoon Session from 1:30–3:00 PM available each day. Open to Members & Non-Members Alike!
We can't wait to welcome families for another great time for fun, fitness, and community!
The bracket is out for The Glowdown: Teen & Adult Coed Volleyball Showdown this Saturday! Put on your neon and come watch the teams battle it out. We will have music, concessions, and upper deck viewing all night.
Admission: $5 (5 and under free)

🎉 Kids Fun & Fit Club – Trial Run Extended! 🎉
We’re excited to announce that our Kids Fun & Fit Club trial run has been extended for one more week!
Kids Fun & Fit Club is a supervised childcare and activity program designed to support parents while they use the facility to work out, attend meetings, work remotely, or simply enjoy personal time in the building.
Each 90-minute session includes:
• Group Games
• Light Fitness Activities
• Structured Play
• Crafts
• Supervised Free Play
Open to children ages 6 months–10 years old

Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Games will begin roughly around 6:00 PM depending on the number of teams registered.
Tournament Details:
4 total courts across 2 gyms
Upper deck party space overlooking all courts
Double elimination brackets
Teen and Adult divisions
No strict age restrictions; choose the bracket that best fits your team
Coed teams must have equal or more females on the court than males
All female teams welcome
$120/team (about $20/player or less)

Last week, we were proud to host the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce staff and Chamber Ambassadors for a special ribbon cutting celebrating the Lindsay Corporation Event Center’s membership with the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce.

Looking for a fun way to stay active this summer? Join us for an exciting pickleball experience open to all ages and skill levels — boys, girls, men and women alike! Whether you’re brand new to the game or already enjoy playing, this is a great opportunity to meet new people, play with friends or kids your own age, learn new skills, and enjoy the game in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
This is not tournament-style competition. The focus of this event is casual play, skill development, staying active, and having fun while enjoying the game of pickleball with others.

Reminder! Our Ribbon Cutting with the Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce is TOMORROW!
Join us as we celebrate the Lindsay Corporation Event Center joining the Norfolk Area Chamber with a ribbon cutting alongside Chamber Ambassadors.
Community members, local business owners, and area supporters are all welcome to attend. The event will include:

Self-Guided Tours of: Lindsay Corporation Event Center, Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center, FCA Lindsay Fitness Center, Lindsay Public Library, Lindsay Academy Jr/Sr High School

Following the event, Chamber Ambassadors will take a walk through downtown Lindsay to visit local businesses and learn more about the businesses that make our community special.
