Basketball League Day Updates – Sunday, January 25
Please review the following important updates for this Sunday’s Basketball League games. We encourage teams and families to read through the full post before arriving.
Cold Weather Entrance Update
Due to expected extreme cold temperatures, admissions will be available at two entrances to help reduce time outdoors:
Door #5 – Lindsay Event Center Entrance
Door #2 – Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center Entrance
Please use either entrance to get inside quickly and stay warm.
Meal Options & Concessions
A variety of meal options will be available for purchase. Attendees may pre-order meals for quick pickup to take home, or purchase items to eat in the Academy Commons or to-go.

Facility & Parking Information
Please review and share the Facility Map with families.
The Academy Commons is available as a gathering space for teams between games.
Parking
Use the main parking lot when available.
Overflow parking is available in the field to the north (weather permitting) or along the south street.
Safety Note
Due to recent construction, sidewalks are not salted. Please use caution around unfinished curbing and watch for ice or snow.
Community Information
Sunday Community Special: $10 burger and fries at Tavern 1888 (opens at noon).
Fundraiser: Support the Lindsay Academy Robotics team by purchasing their “Take and Bake” fundraiser items to help with travel and competition costs.
Worship Opportunity: Families are welcome to join Mass at Lindsay Holy Family Catholic Church at 8:00 AM on Sunday. Locker room access is available if families need to change before games.

The whistle blows this Sunday as we tip off our very first Youth Basketball League at the Lindsay Event Center! From January 18 – February 22, our gym will be full of energy every Sunday! Be sure to check out the schedule for Week 1 so you don’t miss a game!

Looking to make some extra cash? We are hiring dependable, energetic team members to help set up and take down events at the Lindsay Event Center. This paid, flexible role is ideal for anyone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to earn additional income while supporting sports, community events, and private rentals.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, clean, and reset event spaces
- Set up and take down sports and event equipment
- Arrange and store tables, chairs, and linens
- Assist with audio/visual setup
- Stock, restock, and organize event supplies
- Assist with inventory counts and light laundry
Why You’ll Like It:
- Paid position with flexible hours

- Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Work locally at the Lindsay Event Center

We now have new signage up on the front of the Lindsay Event Center! The exterior now proudly features the branding and logo of Lindsay™ (Lindsay Corporation), our facility’s naming rights partner.

The FCA Lindsay Fitness Center will remain accessible 24/7, just as normal, throughout the holiday season. Below are a few important holiday updates to be aware of across our facilities.
Fitness Center
• 24/7 access remains unchanged
• Holiday Help Desk hours: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM:
• Monday: Dec 22nd & Dec 29th
• Tuesday: Dec 23rd & Dec 30th
HIIT Fit Group Classes
• NO HIIT Classes on the following dates: 12/23, 12/25 and 12/31.
• HIIT class on December 30th at 5:30pm
Library Hours
• Holiday hours are as follows: Closed 12/22, 12/24, and 12/31.
• Library will be open on Monday December 29th from 9-11:30am
Guest Pass Reminder
If you have guests staying with you over the holidays and would like them to join you at the Fitness Center, guest passes are available for purchase here.
Please remember that guests must attend with a member to be able to access the facility.

Big day behind the scenes at the Lindsay Event Center 😁
Our staff was in full training mode today, getting hands-on with all the incredible new technology throughout the facility. From theatrical lighting and lighting controls to the PA system and full audio/visual setup, we’re learning how to make every event run smoothly and look amazing.
All of this technology opens the door to so many possibilities. We can elevate athletic events, enhance concerts and performances, improve presentations and ceremonies, and create high-quality experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. From game-day excitement to community events and everything in between, the Lindsay Event Center is ready to shine.
